A Former PG To Help Out Curry
Former NBA point guard Mark Jackson is seriously being considered for the Golden State Warriors head coaching job. In fact, Jackson has had two conversations with the Warriors, including one with owner Joe Lacob, according two NBA sources.
Three that “are said” to remain on the team’s short list are Dallas Mavericks assistant Dwane Casey, Boston Celtics assistant Lawrence Frank, and Lakers assistant Brian Shaw, according to CSN Bay Area.
Jackson would be a good fit for an exciting team with an incredible backcourt.
Mark Jackson has been in the running for it seems like forever as a coaching candidate in the NBA.
With Kevin McHale and Doug Collins being hired after doing work as analysts, it looks like Jackson will get his chance for the first time.
In other news, Steph Curry went through ankle surgery. He is expected ready for camp this fall.
